FAQ’s – MegaWatt Video Game Party – Rochester, Minnesota

How do I know the MegaWatt Video Game Party game trailer can come to my house?

Our drivers are excellent and can go nearly anywhere. As long as your driveway or street isn’t a very sharp hill, we can come. Otherwise, you can divert us to a nearby park, church or parking lot! We need up to 55 feet of cleared space (as flat as possible).

Will the kids know what to do?

We bring our Game Coach so there’s no doubt! The Game Coach helps and instructs the kids during the party. We make sure it’s the party of the year!

Should I be concerned about the types of games for kids?

The party plan will choose the level of games that will be allowed at the party. We follow ESRB (link https://www.esrb.org/) game ratings.  This provides a way for parents to make informed decisions about the video games available and the content provided within.

What about bad weather?

As long as it’s safe to drive we will be there.  We stay in constant communication to give you peace of mind and so we can ensure the party will go on.

What time should I make the party?

Our suggestion is to start the party one hour before the arrival of the game trailer. If the party serves food, have kids eat before video game time.  (We have a no food or drink policy inside the game area) Kids will be able to see the grand arrival of our mobile game theater. A great way to end the party is to provide cake at the end of party time. This makes the finale a sweet one while parents pick up and allows the trailer to safely pack up and leave making room for parents to pick up.

What time will you arrive?

We will arrive approximately 15 minutes prior in order to set-up and rest assured, our door will be open for your guests by the start of your party time!

Do I request certain games?

No need. We always bring our full game library to every event and your Game Coach will listen to, make suggestions and evaluate your needs to make your event successful. You may bring and play your own games, but do so at your own risk.

Do I have to pay for the party in advance?

Our reservations go quickly. In order to reserve your date, once confirmed, you must pay online. For non-profit/civic entities who must pay in a different manner (purchase order, etc.) please contact us.

What type of Fundraising can we do with a mobile game theater?

We can set up tournament-style or general-style gaming to help raise money for an event or simply to just have fun with a large group of people.

Where can I view your official policies?

You can view them here.
